Catholic Cemeteries & Funeral Services – Archdiocese of Toronto (CCFS) is currently looking for a full time Project Manager to join the Facility Development team at our corporate office located in North York. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a full service bereavement industry leader. This role will support our Facility Department in the expansion and construction of all new facilities and property expansions throughout the GTA and surrounding areas for the purpose of providing sacred burial options for our bereaved catholic families.

Reporting directly to the Director, Facility Development, the position is primarily responsible for being the primary contact for contractors, both remotely and on site throughout the construction, and coordination of all aspects of each project from start up to completion. 

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in construction management and/or project management in addition to the completion of Post-Secondary Education in construction management, building science or civil engineering or equivalent and/or education as a Certified Project Management Professional is required.  The candidate must be familiar with Municipal Development processes, have direct experience in reading and interpreting construction drawings and documents for technical specifications such as architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, and other required project drawings, and have extensive construction experience in onsite supervisory of various trades.  The required skill sets include:  superior leadership, team player, planning, analytical and negotiation skills.  Possess a strong communication skills (verbal & written), complemented with organizational skills, time management, complaint resolution, coaching and computer literate (Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project).  A valid Ontario G Driver’s License in good standing and a clear Police Clearance Record is required. 

This position is scheduled for a five day work week, from Monday to Friday with core working hours from 8:30am to 4:30pm.  As an employer, we offer a 100% salary based position with performance based incentive programs, full benefit package, employer pension plan, on the job training, travel mileage and a great work environment.
