elevated 5YNC1  Catholic Cemeteries & Funeral Services – Archdiocese of Toronto is currently seeking motivated and team-oriented individuals at the following properties:

  • elevated 5YNC1 Christ the King Catholic Cemetery, Markham

  • elevated 5YNC1 Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Thornhill

  • elevated 5YNC1 Mount Hope Catholic Cemetery, Toronto

  • elevated 5YNC1 Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, Woodbridge

  • elevated 5YNC1 St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Barrie

elevated 5YNC1  Job Responsibilities:

  • elevated 5YNC1 Perform regular lawn maintenance to ensure an acceptable level of maintenance in and around our cemetery properties.

  • elevated 5YNC1 Safe and careful handling and use of manual tools, equipment, vehicles and machinery.

  • elevated 5YNC1 May be required to perform light maintenance on lawn equipment and tools, such as lawn mowers and trimmers.

elevated 5YNC1 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • elevated 5YNC1 Completion of a High School Diploma or greater is required.

  • elevated 5YNC1 Previous work experience using push mowers, ride on mowers, trimmers, an asset.

  • elevated 5YNC1 Ability to walk, stand, sit and push with/on mechanical equipment for prolonged periods of time in varying weather conditions is required.

  • elevated 5YNC1 Ability to successfully complete web-based training prior to start date.

  • elevated 5YNC1 Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, punctual and reliable.

  • elevated 5YNC1 Must have a valid Ontario Driver’s G License or G2 License at the minimum, in good standing.

  • elevated 5YNC1 Provide your own CSA approved steel-toed safety boots.

elevated 5YNC1 Employment and Benefits:

  • elevated 5YNC1 Five days per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm

  • elevated 5YNC1 Partial Uniform including personal protective equipment provided

  • elevated 5YNC1 On the job training

  • elevated 5YNC1 Rate of pay: $18.65 per hour
