elevated 2eqD1 With heavy yet peaceful hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Alberto (Berto) Scattolin. He passed away peacefully, with his loving wife, daughter, and granddaughter by his side.

elevated 2eqD1 Alberto was a selfless, kind, and gentle man, whose deep love and unwavering devotion to his family defined his life. He was a man of quiet strength — a strength that allowed his loved ones the precious time to express just how deeply he was loved, and to remind him that he will forever remain etched in our hearts. In those final moments, his strength also allowed him to tell each of us how much we were loved, and to thank us for taking care of him.

elevated 2eqD1 He leaves behind his beloved wife, Maria, and will be forever cherished by his daughter Liane, his son Enio (Karen), and his treasured grandchildren Deanna (Fabio), Devyn (Bianca), and Christopher. He will be deeply missed by his brother Beniamino, as he joins his parents Carlo and Antonia, and his predeceased siblings Antonio, Enrico, Danielo, Luigi, and his loving sister Maria.

elevated 2eqD1 Alberto was born on September 10, 1930, in Quinto di Treviso, Italy. A quiet man with immeasurable love and strength, family was everything to him. From a young age, he worked hard to care for his parents and siblings in Italy. In 1955, he made the brave decision to come to Canada to build a better life for them.
