elevated qfUGD Our loving Mom went to be with the Lord on October 9th 2025, in her 96th year. Mom’s deeply imbued Catholic faith and love of family were forged early in life, during a childhood wherein
she survived her family’s deportation to a labor camp from her native Poland at the tender age of 10, and her ensuing years as a refugee through Siberia, Uzbekistan, Persia, India and Lebanon.
elevated qfUGD After immigrating to Canada with her Mom and sisters, she earned her Nursing degree, and dedicated her professional life to caring for newborn babies. Mom married our dear Dad in 1955, and together they built a family to whom they dedicated their lives, raising us in a household characterized by faith, love, hard work, selflessness, humility, caring, and giving.
elevated qfUGD Predeceased by her dear husband Orest, her devout, caring mother Agata, her courageous father Jan, her loving sisters Staszka, and Ludwika (Viktor), Mom will be profoundly missed by
her devoted sister Janina, her caring daughter Barbara (Steve), loving sons Richard (Janet), John (Johanna), and Mark; and cherished grandchildren Katie, Kristen (Travis), Nevaeh, and Jake.
elevated qfUGD Mom exuded peace, warmth, love, and unfailing compassion. Her younger nursing co-workers felt loved and cared for by our Mom’s gentle nature, and we as children were blessed to have
had the opportunity to learn how to love from a Mom who gave of herself so fully. Our special thanks to Mom’s personal caregivers; and all the caregivers and staff at Extendicare Mississauga.
elevated qfUGD In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Extendicare Mississauga, Share Life or a charity of your choice. Private interment with a Catholic funeral liturgy for immediate family will take place at Assumption Catholic cemetery.

I was so saddened to hear about your mom’s passing. I have so many great memories of our time at the cottage in Barry’s Bay. She was such a wonderful, warm and giving person. My heartfelt condolences are with you and your family during this difficult time.
