Obituary
God called Erlinda Sparkes home to the Lord on June 14, 2025, at Margaret Bahen Hospice, surrounded by her loving family, just shy of her 64th birthday. Beloved wife of 35 years to Glen. Loving mother of Edlynn (Rickey), Justine (Nicholas), and Jo (Xiang, partner). Proud Lola of Zachary. Dear sister to 9 siblings. Erlinda will be sadly missed and held dear in the hearts of her extended family and friends. She will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten.

I worked with Erlinda at Notre Dame. She was always full of energy and good cheer, and was always willing to chat – sometimes about work, sometimes about family – she loved her family. I will miss her. We shared many laughs; that’s how I’ll remember her. My sincerest condolences on your loss.
