elevated ZYlC1 It is with heavy hearts and much love that we announce the passing of Joseph “Joey” Goodier in Newmarket at the age of 84. Devoted husband of Margaret Goodier (née Marois) for 59 years. Loving father of Christine (predeceased), Kathleen, and Cheryl. Adored grandfather “Poppy” to Jeffrey, Rachelle, Jacob, and Vivienne.
elevated ZYlC1 Joey is predeceased by his sister Debra Burnette and will be lovingly remembered by his sister Jolene Hopwood, as well as by many extended family members and friends.
elevated ZYlC1 Joey will be remembered for his warmth, and the deep love he had for his family.

We were deeply saddened to learn of Joey’s passing. We have known Joey and Margaret for many, many years and have shared many good times together. Joey was a wonderful, thoughtful and cherished friend. He will be greatly missed. May he rest in peace. Our condolences, thoughts and prayers go out to Margaret and her family at this difficult time.
All my condolences to the family. Joey was my boss for many years at TLS but it did not take a long time that he became a friend for life. Joey was a people person. I have so many souvenirs with him.
I’m so sorry to hear about Joey’s passing. I’ll always remember him as a kind and generous person who offered me invaluable support during my early adulthood. He always reached out to say hello and see how things were going.
