elevated 7xYZF It is with deep sadness and much love that we announce the peaceful passing of Maria Pia Campli Scarponi, in Mississauga at the age of 90.
elevated 7xYZF Born in Ripa Tiatina, Abruzzo, Italy, Maria was the beloved daughter of Tomasso Campli and Camilla Campli (née Nicola). She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Sergio Scarponi, who passed away in 2001.
elevated 7xYZF Maria Pia was a loving mother to Paul (Doriana), George, Maurizio (Debbie) and Frank (Karen).
elevated 7xYZF Adored Nonna of Tyler (Rosanne), Joshua, Brittany, Taylor, Justin, Jenna and Alyssia. Proud great grandmother of Sienna, Scarlet, Brooklyn, Phifer, Weston, Asher and Scarlett.
elevated 7xYZF She was a dear sister to Sofia (Claudio), the late Tomasso (Eda) and Enrico (Claudia).
elevated 7xYZF Maria’s legacy of love, strength, and unwavering dedication to family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all.
Our heartfelt condolences to Paul, Doriana and the entire Scarponi family on the loss of your beloved mother. We will always remember Pia for her welcoming smile and her beautiful voice. She was always happy entertain us singing her favourite song which was “Volare”. She is definitely singing with the angels now. May God grant eternal peace. 🙏❤️
