elevated gsE7j With profound sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Michela Smargiassi on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at the age of 96. She has now been reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Nicolas, and her dearly missed son, Luigi, whom she always carried in her heart.
elevated gsE7j Michela lived a long and fulfilling life devoted to her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose love and wisdom brought comfort and joy to all who knew her. Her strength, resilience, and unwavering dedication to her family were evident in everything she did, and the values she shared will continue to live on through the generations she cherished so deeply.
elevated gsE7j She will be forever loved and remembered by her grandchildren, Melissa (Chris) and Kersten (Mario), and by her treasured great-grandchildren, Jason, Tessa, Olivia, Alessia, and Francesco, who brought her immense joy and pride.
elevated gsE7j Michela will be deeply missed by her family and dear friends in Canada, Italy, and Australia, as well as by all those whose lives were touched by her love and strength.
