It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Alan Hedley Panting on January 25, 2026. Born on June 16, 1954. Beloved husband to Janice and her partner for 55 years, Loving father of the late Jamie, Kari (Nathan,) and Katelyn. Adored grandfather of Ben and Emma. Caring brother of the late Lyn, and Sue, and loving brother in law to Peggy and Sandy.
elevated J3tPe A member of the Riding Eagles and an avid motorcycle enthusiast, Bob was a hard worker, a humorous storyteller, and the loyalist of friends. Some of whom he kept for 60 years. He will truly be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

After many years working and being friends with Bob, I got to know him quite well. He was helpful, generous and sympathetic to his friends and always tried to make things easier for you if he could. He was funny, he loved SCTV and would laugh at any imitation you could do especially of John Candy. He will be missed that’s for sure, rest in peace Bob, your friend, John”
