elevated WDyDJ God called Saverio Valana peacefully on the morning of July 14th, 2025. He will unite and rejoin with his beautiful wife Giuseppina Valana in the grace of Heaven. To my dear cousins our sincere condolences on the passing of your father and our Zio. He was always a pleasure to talk to, he made you look towards the positives in life. It’s very sad that generation has left us. They worked so hard to give us a start in life. He will never be forgotten. Love Peter Maria Brian and Melissa

To all of our Valana Family. We were so saddened to hear of Zio’s passing. He was always smiling & laughing, his humor will be missed. Loved the stories of when they all came to Canada. Lots of hard work and sacrifice so we could live a better life. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. He set an example for us all.
Love to all Bruno, Sherri, Laura and Sara Valana
My deepest condolences to the Valana family. Sam was my dad’s best friend and when I was around 6 years old he told me that they were “blood brothers”. I didn’t really understand what that meant, but I knew I wanted one too. The things I remember most about Sam was his infectious smile and his devotion to his family. I am so lucky to have known him. Sending love to all those who knew him and miss him. He will be remembered.
Thank you so much cousins Pete, Maria, Brian and Melissa for your kind words and support during this difficult time.
Thank you so much Eleonor for your kind words and support during this difficult time.
Blessings,
Tina, Marlene, Paul
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Valana family. We will remember Sam’s love, laughter and all the fun times and music at the summer picnics. A true dedicated family man. An honor to have known him. Vickilynn, Gregory, Nicole and extended family.

Blessings,

To My Family,
I want to send you all our most sincere and heartfelt condolences.
The loss of your father and my greatest mentor hurts more than words can express. I’ve been thinking about him constantly… his strength, his laughter, the way he carried himself with both conviction and grace. He helped shape so much of who I am, and I’ll carry his lessons with me for the rest of my life.
What brings me peace is knowing that he’s no longer in pain. He’s home now, reunited with his brothers and his parents. I have no doubt he walked into that room with confidence , and that Zia Pina was already there setting the table for a feast of memories, love, food, and the kind of wine only heaven could pour. Just imagine that dinner… the stories, the laughs, the toasts, the joy. It makes me smile through the tears. Zio Vincenzio, Zio Giuseppe, my father and Zia all gathered.
To all of you—I miss you more than I can say. I love you deeply. And even though distance and life have separated us, I’ve never stopped being proud to call you my family. That will never change. We’ll be together again soon, and when we are, we’ll raise a glass to him the way he deserves.
Until then, may God hold you close and give you strength.
With all our love,
Pasquale, Mariannina, Zachary, and Sabrina Valana
