elevated gHPSR On Friday, May 14, 2021, Josephine (Jessie) Witt passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 92. Jessie was born Giuseppa Bartolo in Marsa, Malta on January 1, 1929 to Lorenzo and Maria Bartolo. She was one of 13 siblings. She is survived and fondly remembered by her two sons, Peter, and James (Barbara) Witt, and her three grandchildren, Spencer, Tara, and Harrison.

elevated gHPSR Jessie was the hardest worker that most people had ever met. Throughout her entire life, she had numerous jobs as well as endless hobbies and talents. She successfully ran multiple convenience stores, all while tending to a paper route on the side.

elevated gHPSR She worked tirelessly to provide a good life full of opportunities for her boys. Her resiliency and tenacity were inspiring. Jessie had a green thumb and would grow full fruit-bearing trees from any seed or pit. She also had impeccable skills as a seamstress and knitter, even making her sons christening gowns and clothes for her grandchildren.

elevated gHPSR She was incredibly generous, and never missed an opportunity to give someone a gift or a homecooked meal. She loved animals and would never hesitate to open her home to pets. Jessie adored being a grandmother, spending much of her retired life babysitting her grandkids.
