elevated 8ZhjY Died peacefully at MacKenzie Health Hospital. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Stanley, and they are currently dancing together in heaven to their song Volare.
elevated 8ZhjY Loving mother to Bradley (her pride and joy), mother-in-law to Kim and grandmother to Kathryn. She is remembered by her many friends.
elevated 8ZhjY One of her greatest joys was the time she spent as a teaching assistant and remembered every single student fondly, she found joy in children and animals. She loved to shop, was a foodie before it was trendy and loved to laugh – she had the most infectious laugh. She always sought out lonely people and included them – one of her favourite things to do at her retirement residence was to make up bags of candies and chocolates to pass them out and brighten the day of others (and of course selflessly sampling them for quality control).
elevated 8ZhjY In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to two of her favourite charities the Toronto Humane Society and the Hospital for Sick Children.

Marilyn was our neighbor and friend for close to15 years in Newmarket. We enjoyed weekly walks and shopping together. She trusted me to push her around, when the shopping center became too big to walk. I remember Marilyn was always happy with her purchases even when they were a far cry from what she hoped to purchase.
She loved her day trips with Stan and would always bring Graham his steak and kidney pies when their trips took them to Port Perry. We will treasure these and many other memories.

Thank you for your kind words. Mom and dad have always been blessed with kind neighbours like you and Graham. You jogged my memory as to their road trips to Port Perry. When Covid is over we are going to go there as there was a great fish and chips store they would go to.

We send our most heartfelt condolences to you and your family. We were neighbour’s for many, many years on Candlewood, looking from our home across the street to yours with the the most magnificent maple tree. Both your mother & father were the most lovely and loving neighbour’s. Their presence were truly missed when they moved from our street to Newmarket. We are all saddened to hear about your mother’s passing and our thoughts & prayers are with you all at this most difficult time.

She volunteered whenever needed; I remember her volunteering when you were in my class at Lamberton…….way back.
