elevated 4Rt2u It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Taglioni peacefully on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at the age of 93. Predeceased by her beloved husband Arduino. Loving mother of Giuliana (Arduino) and Rocco (Jane). Adored grandmother of Josie (Kelly), Paul (Karren), Daniele (Will) and Laura (Jordan). Cherished great grandmother of Sophia, John, Paolo. Luke and Charlie. Maria was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She was a warm, generous, compassionate person, and a friend to all. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all of her extended family and friends. May she rest in peace and eternal happiness with her true love and partner for life, Arduino.

I am so saddened by this, though somehow I knew. After discovering when I stopped by the long-term home that she was no longer there, I meant to search for information many times, yet something always prevented me. Maybe I just wanted to think she was still here, ready to cook for me, to laugh together. It was so special for me to have your parents as neighbours, and friends. We talk about them often- and in that, they live on. If you’re ever in the old hood, please get in touch. Xo lorie
