It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Elisabeth on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at the age of 92. Pre deceased by her beloved husband Anton in 2013. Elisabeth is survived by her loving son Klaus (Caron). Adored Oma to Michael (Claude). Sister of Anna Orth of Germany. Aunt to Silvia (Arthur). Elisabeth will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her many family and friends.

This is a beautiful picture of Oma Hartmann and reminds me that she was a smiler, despite everything she was inclined to smile while talking to you. This small gesture is such a gift and a signal of inner strength. Like the song says “Smile, though your heart is breaking…” – we can smile when we are confident that Heaven awaits, along with all loved ones who have gone before, and who are patiently watching over, and waiting for us. 🙂
