elevated B2vzj It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bronisław Bilicz. God called onto Bronisław on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, and he passed away peacefully with his loved ones by his side at Markham Stouffville Hospital.
elevated B2vzj Beloved Husband of Jadwiga. Loving Father of Mary (Frank), Helen (Carl) and Irene. Adored Dziadziu of Steven (Amanda), Carla (Andre), Peter (Rebecca), the late; Tracey, Nicole (Eamon) and Mark (Allie). Cherished Pradziadziu of Ryan, Tyler, Patrick, Owen, Marlowe, Quinn, Aniela, Weston, Rowyn and Colton. Devoted Brother of John and Stanley. Loving Uncle of Walter, Eddie, Lynda, Donna, the late; Cecilia, the late; Ewa, John and Betty. Predeceased by his Beloved Parents Joseph and Franciszka and brothers Walter, Frank and his sister Mary.
elevated B2vzj Bronisław was born in Małowody, Poland, March 14, 1935. After WWII, in 1944, the family was moved to Germany. In 1950, Bronisław immigrated to Canada with his family.
elevated B2vzj A lifelong learner, Bronisław continued his education in Canada by enrolling in night school classes to learn English, Ryerson University followed by a Diploma in Radio, Television and Allied Electronics.
elevated B2vzj Bronisław and Jadwiga were married on July 20, 1957. Sixty-six years of wedded bliss and blessed with three daughters, they were a happy and loving family.
elevated B2vzj His exceptional technical, mechanical, electrical and business skills were sought-after worldwide and also in Canada and most noteworthy around Toronto where his talents and skills were utilized in the building of landmarks such as the CN Tower, Tim Horton’s and other notable locations such as Canada’s Wonderland.
elevated B2vzj With dedicated commitment, Bronisław maintained a beautiful home in Toronto and also built a charming cottage, both an extension of his longing for beauty, joy and affection. Many moments of togetherness with his family encompassed much fun and laughter, cherished meals and comforting camp fires.
elevated B2vzj Active and dedicated parishioners of St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish Church, Bronisław and Jadwiga raised their daughters with deep religious conviction, and were involved in many family and community Church events. For many decades, Bronisław contributed to the upkeep and maintenance of the Church with his generous contributions of maintaining and improving upon its electrical and audio systems.
elevated B2vzj Bronisław and Jadwiga’s engagement in the Polish community led to the formation of enduring friendships, allowing them to fully embrace traditional Polish culture.
elevated B2vzj Bronisław’s love of music crossed all decades and genres. Music was always around him. Due to his keen interest with photography and videography, Bronisław was consistently present to capture memorable occasions.
elevated B2vzj His essence, bright blue eyes and captivating smile would always light up a room whereever he went.
elevated B2vzj Bronisław was always very appreciative of the excellent care and support that he received from the staff at Markham Stouffville Hospital. His family is also very grateful and appreciative of the care and support that he received and they thank everyone.
elevated B2vzj He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his immediate and extended family, friends, co-workers, and acquaintances.
elevated B2vzj We all miss you and we all love you. You will always be in our hearts.
