It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Ignac Pozderec at the age of 89 in Scarborough.

elevated 98dfM He is predeceased by his beloved wife Marija (nee Matjasec) in 2000 and son Denis in 2015. Ignac is survived by his son David and Josef (Elizabeth). Proud grandpa to Isabella, Josephine, Jonathan and Evangelina.

elevated 98dfM Ignac was born in Melinci, Slovenia to Petr and Katarina Pozderec, siblings Marija (predeceased), Martin, Jozef, Stefan and Regina. 

elevated 98dfM He came to Canada in 1957  with nothing and worked hard to build a life working in farms, construction and eventually working for Ecko where he retired after over 20 years.

elevated 98dfM Ignac will be missed and remembered by his family and friends here in Canada and in Slovenia.
