Cervilia was called home to be with our Lord after a brave and courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 86.
elevated YqbqR We have peace in knowing that she passed with her daughter Helen by her side
elevated YqbqR She is rejoicing at being reunited with her parents Maria and Battista (CECOL) having been orphaned at the tender age of 16.
elevated YqbqR She is joined in heaven by her beloved husband Giorgio Gino (2009).
elevated YqbqR She will be forever missed, loved and cherished by her daughter Helen and son Dave. Cherished by her sister Nevia and sister-in-laws, Vittorina (late Bovio) and Enrica (late Tony), and Louisa. Loving Aunt to her many nieces and nephews, Graziella and Mirko (Bovio), Mary, Nora and Dominic (Tony); Carlo and Mauro (Germana); Nisida (Bruna), Diego and Annika.
elevated YqbqR She will be missed by Egisto De Luca and family, the Da Re family (Jennifer, Brian and Sabrina), and all of her extended family and friends in Canada, Italy and around the world.
elevated YqbqR She is rejoicing in heaven with the many siblings that she loved and missed so much: Germana, Bruna, Bovio, Tony, Angelo and the first sister named Nevia. who passed away in her early childhood.
elevated YqbqR She left this world leaving a legacy of immense love for her family, friends and beloved fur-babies cats, Tita and Luna (Dave).
elevated YqbqR Our Mom Cervilia, a proud Canadian, will be missed by all who knew her, especially at her places of work, Italian communities, neighbours both past and present, all the children she held near and dear to her heart that she was blessed to have seen become adults and parents.
elevated YqbqR She will also be missed by some staff members and students of the Firgrove P.S., where she had volunteered while supporting her teacher-daughter Helen, in the her classroom and school library.
elevated YqbqR Helen and Dave would like to thank all our family and friends for your love and support.
elevated YqbqR To the medical personnel for loving our mother, and for your compassion and support over the years on her journey and celebration of life.

Dear Helen and David: On behalf of my mother Enrica, myself, Nora and Dominic, we are sending you our sincere condolences with the passing of your mother, our aunt. This picture of your mother is lovely and I see a family resemblance of my dear father, her brother Tony in her smile and eyes. The resemblance shows the strong Cecol pride, determination, hardworking ethic, their lust for life and most of all their sense of humour. Now she is a star in our night sky – sparkling along with the rest of her parents, husband and siblings. Condolences.

Dear Helen and Dave.
I was saddened to hear from my cousin Dan of your mother‘s passing.
I have very fond memories of your mother‘s boisterous conversations with my Zia Rena at her kitchen table when we were kids.
It’s very difficult when you lose your parents. Your mother was truly a strong force of nature who helped both of you and many others along the way. She will always be remembered for this.
I hope that you are able to find comfort in your family and friends in the following days and weeks to come.
