elevated FjeSR It’s with great sadness and much love we mourn the passing of Elda Schembri (nee Ruffa), at the age of 65 on Thursday January 9th, 2025. Beloved wife of Jospeh Schembri, cherished mother of Pasquale Schembri (Irina), Maria Evans (Dal) and Alessandra Schembri (Caleb). Proudest, devoted and caring Nonna of 4 grandchildren. Elda will forever be remembered for her enormous heart and generosity by many family and friends both here in Canada, USA and Italy.
elevated FjeSR Elda was born on June 28th, 1959 in Toronto, Canada. Beloved daughter of the late Gregorio and Anna Ruffa. Beloved sister of Anna Roberts (Peter), Gregory Ruffa (Giselle), Mike Ruffa (Lora) and the late Pasqualina.

It is with sadness that we heard of Elda’s death. She was a kind and generous neighbour.
We remember her caring attention to Angelo when he was hospitalized in Richmond Hill.
