elevated 46IUI It is with great sadness that the family of Marin Kokosarevic announces his passing on Saturday January 25th, 2025, after battling dementia. Born on July 2nd 1935, Marin was predeceased by his beloved wife, Katarina Kokosarevic, and his son, Marko Kokosarevic.
elevated 46IUI He is survived by his loving son, Robert Kokosarevic, kind daughter-in-law, Diane, and his cherished grandchildren, Rebecca and Amanda.
elevated 46IUI Marin was a devoted family man with a remarkable life’s journey. Born in Tovarnik, Croatia, Marin felt during political unrest that he needed to find a new place to build a future for his family. After a lengthy journey through Germany and Austria, he wound up in Toronto, Ontario where he would spend the rest of his days. Throughout his time in Toronto, Marin contributed to the construction of iconic landmarks like the CN Tower. He built a beautiful home on Graystone gardens that he loved dearly where he raised his two beautiful boys Robert and Marko Kokosarevic with his wife Katarina. Later his joy grew even further with the arrival of his two granddaughters, Rebecca and Amanda. Marin and Katarina would excitedly attend their horseback riding shows and dance recitals. Marin’s love for his family was unwavering, and he leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and dedication to those who knew him. He will be dearly missed.
elevated 46IUI A private funeral service will be held to honor Marin’s life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
