elevated UtakX It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, Maria, on June 25, 2025 — the day she and our late father, Adolfo, would have celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. On this special day, they are now reunited.

elevated UtakX Born in Rome, Italy, and raised in Arce, Maria made Canada her home in 1953. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a proud Nonna and Nonnina, and a cherished Zia.

elevated UtakX She leaves behind her daughters, Vincenza (Pierre) and Rosanna; her adored grandchildren, Andrea (Daniel), Rachel (Nicholas), Julia, and Philip; and her great-grandchildren, Harvey, Georgia, Violet, Amelia, and Alice.  Survived by brother-in-law Italo (Teresa) Sera and sisters-in-law Maria Fraschetti and Anna Fraschetti. Maria was also an aunt to many nieces and nephews in both Canada and Italy.

elevated UtakX Family was everything to our Mom. She loved deeply and was deeply loved. She never asked for much and was always grateful for what she had. Though it has been many years since we’ve shared her delicious homemade meals, we will never forget the love that filled every bite.

elevated UtakX We are profoundly grateful to the entire community of Humber Meadows Long Term Care including Dr. Bhandari, and the dedicated nurses Beata, Neha, Donnadette  and PSWs who cared for our Mom with such compassion since her move there in June 2023. Your kindness and professionalism have meant the world to us.

elevated UtakX A heartfelt thank you to Susan, whose unwavering care and devotion since 2019 when Alzheimer’s began to take our Mom’s independence — has been a true blessing. We are also deeply thankful for Ruth Ann’s gentle and attentive care.

elevated UtakX You will forever live in our hearts, Mom.
Your love, strength, and grace will never be forgotten.
