elevated Rboh4 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Maria Lucia Melo, on July 12, 2025, at the age of 89, in Vaughan, Ontario. Lucia was born in Lajes, Terceira, Acores, and lived a life marked by deep love and unwavering devotion to her family.
elevated Rboh4 Lucia was the beloved wife of the late Carlos Melo, a devoted and loving mother to Eduarda (Aaron) and Charlie (Lucia). She was endlessly proud of her grandchildren, Adam (Nikole), Alannah (David), Daniel, and Emily. Lucia held special joy in being a great-grandmother (Vava) to her treasured great-granddaughters, Aria and Alaia. She was the cherished sister and best friend of Elisa (Alfredo), and dearest aunt to her many nieces and nephews.
elevated Rboh4 Lucia had a kind and generous spirit and was always ready to lend a hand, share a meal, or offer a quiet word of support. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures — sewing, baking, and the company of loved ones. Her love was felt deeply and will be remembered forever.
elevated Rboh4 Her legacy of warmth, compassion, and selflessness lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Family and friends are invited to gather in celebration of Lucia’s life.
