elevated LwbMT Obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Evelina Maria Renzi Frangione, who left us on July 12th, 2025 at the age of 87. Her life journey spanned the globe, with cherished memories created in Italy, Argentina and Canada.

Evelina, now reunited with her beloved husband Mauro and survived by her brother in Argentina, was the proud mother of two children, a devoted grandmother to four grandchildren, and a joyful great-grandmother to three great-grandchildren. Her family was the center of her world, and she took immense pride in every generation she helped nurture.

Known for her warm heart and even warmer kitchen, Evelina’s greatest joy was cooking. Whether it was a holiday feast or a simple dinner, she found purpose and connection in sharing food with those she loved. Her dishes brought comfort, laughter and a sense of home to all who were lucky enough to gather at her table.

Evelina always found happiness in socializing with her close friends and family. Conversations that always brought her joy, while sharing her stories with all who listened. When given the opportunity, Evelina would not pass up the chance to sing out loud with her friends.

Her presence was a gift to those around her—uplifting, welcoming and unforgettable.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her legacy of love, laughter, and togetherness will live on in her family and friends.

In memory of Evelina, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
