elevated k92Mc Obituary
It is with great love and sadness that we announce the passing of Anna Maria Landolfi (nee Laurenza), who left us peacefully on September 24, 2025, in Richmond Hill, Ontario, at the age of 93 surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

elevated k92Mc Anna Maria was born on July 26, 1932, in Baia e Latina, Caserta, Italy to Tommaso and Giovannina Laurenza. She is predeceased by her husband, Bernardo and daughter, Giovannina (Joe). She will be missed by her children, Antoinette (Angelo), Tony (Rose), Tom (Rosanna), and Mario (Lucy); her grandchildren, Angela, Camillo, Dora, Anthony, Anne Marie W, Anne Marie M, Bernardo, Johnny, Jessica, Michael, Vincent, Julia, her 16 great-grandchildren, her siblings Marco, Maria Gracia, Tony, Angelo, and her in-laws.

elevated k92Mc A woman of unwavering determination, Anna Maria worked tirelessly throughout her life, raising her 5 children with love, sacrifice, and perseverance.  After the sudden, tragic loss of her beloved “Dindino” more than 45 years ago, she carried on with fierce independence, building a life defined by resilience. Anna Maria cleaned houses to provide for her family up until her late 70’s. She believed that it was not how much you made, but what you saved – her low utility bills were legendary. Though frugal by nature, she was deeply generous with her loved ones, ensuring they always had not only life’s necessities but so much more, giving freely and without hesitation.

elevated k92Mc Anna Maria took great pride in her home, her garden, and her sewing; her homegrown tomato sauce was the absolute best in the family. Her specialties were spaghetti, verdure stuffed pizza, lasagna, meatballs, muffaletta with a little bit of sugar, and finally her watered down coffee that ‘she’ proclaimed was the best.  She was a talented seamstress, whether sewing clothes for her family, repairing or crafting beautiful comforters for others.

elevated k92Mc We are forever grateful for the strength, love, and wisdom she gave us. ‘Namodee’ will live on in our hearts, our stories, and the traditions she passed down with pride.
