It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss we announce the peaceful passing of Patricia Marie MacDonald “Bakka” on March 14, 2026, at Humber River Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 86. She is now reunited with her beloved husband Alexander, her loving mother Florence and father John, her brothers John (Beverly) and Albert, and sister Barbara (Walter). Loving mother of April and her husband Sam. Proud grandmother “Bakka” of Jevon (Matthew) and Jesse (Mariam). Cherished great-grandmother of Lily, Alexander, and Jaxson. Adored niece Katherine (Glen). Patricia “Pat” will be sadly missed and held dear in the hearts of her extended family and friends. She will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten.

Sweet Bakka, everytime we would chat you would always be smiling and sharing stories. You really would make us all laugh. You are a true blessing, light-hearted and full of life. We will miss your spirit here with us but your life will be everlasting with Jesus Christ. May you rest in eternal peace. Love you sweet Bakka.

Pat you could light up any room with your laughter and your stories. You lived a great life, fought many battles and won. You gave love to those around you, especially family. You will always be remembered and many stories, about you, will be told that will always bring us laughter and tears. When we look up to the sky we will look for a twinkling star and that’s where you will be. I know you will send signs and we will look for them knowing you are sending them to let us know everything will be ok. May you rest in peace now.
