It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Giovanni Ionta on May 23, 2026. Giovanni was the beloved husband of Teresa Ionta. Born in Santi Cosma e Damiano to Alessandro and Italia Ionta, he carried with him a deep love for family, tradition, and community throughout his life.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Sandro (Franca), Tony, Ida (Enio), and Fabio (Donna). Cherished Nonno to Victoria, Cassandra (Johnny), Michael, Giovanni, Marcus (Vanessa), Alessandra, Fabio Jr., Dillon, Curtis, and Ethan, and proud Bisnonno to Chiara.

elevated 0mLVH Giovanni will be deeply missed by his siblings, brothers- and sisters-in-law, extended family, and many dear friends whose lives he touched with his kindness, warmth, and generosity.
