elevated wGa1C It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Antonina “Nina” Taglioni, who passed away peacefully in her sleep after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 65 years old.
elevated wGa1C Born to Salvatore Galluzzo and Maria Puccio D’Anna, Nina was a strong, hardworking woman whose life was centered around family, friendship, and love. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—days spent at the beach, the warmth of the sun, time by the water, and creating beautiful crocheted keepsakes for those she loved.
elevated wGa1C Above all else, Nina was a devoted mother and grandmother. She leaves behind her beloved children, Christian (Nicole) and Danielle (Anthony), and her cherished granddaughter, Chiara, who was truly the light of her life.
elevated wGa1C Nina is lovingly remembered by her mother, Maria Puccio D’Anna; her sister, Gigi; her brother-in-law, Rocky; her sister-in-law, Novi; her nieces and nephews, Marc (Amber), Tania (Joey), Adam (Melissa), and Sal; as well as many great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives she touched throughout the years.
elevated wGa1C She was predeceased by her father, Salvatore Galluzzo; her beloved brother, Enzo Galluzzo; and Tony Taglioni, the father of her children.
elevated wGa1C Nina will be remembered for her strength, resilience, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. She was fiercely protective of those she cared about, never afraid to speak her mind, and always willing to help someone in need. Her memory will live on in every sunny day, every trip to the water, every handmade stitch, and every gathering of the people she loved most.

elevated wGa1C While flowers are appreciated, the family kindly requests that those wishing to honor Nina’s memory consider making a donation to Hospice Vaughan or Pancreatic Cancer Canada (PanCAN), organizations that provided support and hope throughout her journey.

Oh Nina, Nina, pretty ballerina…(which is what I called you)… some people are just pure goodness, always and consistently nice, and so so funny that they’re known as the “Life of the Party”. God must be very bored right now and so he summoned YOU to be the life of His party. Your light shined so bright that I thought you were radioactive. I was blessed and honoured to know you, and I will always be your Ricky-poo. By way of your last birthday party in November, as well as visiting you numerous times in the hospice, we (Monica & myself) were fortunate enough to meet and get to know so many more of your immediate family. They are all angels on earth, while you are an Angel in Heaven. I am beyond sad that you are no longer here physically, but you have a forever home in our hearts. Rest now, Nina. Many of us will remember Nina for the small things, walking by our office to check in, sharing a laugh, and of course, enjoying her daily espresso.
The impact she leaves behind extends far beyond her work. It lives in the relationships she built, the people she helped, and the many lives she made better simply by being herself.

Nina was the best and Braves person. I remember going to the Santana concert at ontario place. Both her and I had to go so bad and saw the line up for women was so long her and I decided to go to the men’s who had no line up. We had so much fun that night. I will miss her so much. Nina I know you are in a better place and hope you have as much fun there. God bless and you will be missed.

Even during a battle with cancer always checked in on me to make sure I was ok . I will miss hearing “ Hi Bella” and our long long talks .
