elevated abfH5 Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Joseph D’Amico on July 4, 2026.
elevated abfH5 Joseph was the beloved son of Romilda D’Amico and the late Enrico D’Amico (2022). He was a devoted brother to Judie D’Amico, a cherished brother-in-law to Lui Crispino, and a proud and loving uncle to his nieces, Joya D’Amico Crispino and Soleil D’Amico Crispino, and his nephew, Phoenix D’Amico Crispino, all of whom brought him immeasurable joy.
elevated abfH5 Born and raised in Toronto’s St. Clair West neighbourhood, Joseph never lost his love for the community that shaped him. He had a natural talent for working with his hands and took great pride in a career spanning 30 years with the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC). Following his well-earned retirement, he enjoyed the opportunity to slow down and spend more time with those he loved.
elevated abfH5 Joseph will be remembered for his infectious sense of humour, quick wit, and ability to make everyone around him laugh. He truly was the life of every gathering, bringing smiles wherever he went. Even in adulthood, he remained a kid at heart—playful, mischievous, and full of joy. His warmth, laughter, and generous spirit left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
elevated abfH5 Though his passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of his family and friends, the countless memories, laughter, and love he shared will be treasured forever.
Joseph will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
elevated abfH5 The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all those who have offered their love, prayers, and support during this difficult time.
elevated abfH5 Forever in our hearts.
elevated abfH5 If desired, donations in memory of Joseph can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Dear Romilda, Judie and family:
🕊😪My heartfelt condolences to you all on the passing of your beloved Joe. Courage on the days ahead. May he rest in eternal peace in heaven with his beloved father Enrico and all your relatives gone before him. I am Rocco and Sandro’s mom whom Judie attended Stella Maris School with. I attend St Clare’s church in Toronto at 10 am Sunday mass. On behalf of our parishioners who can not attend because of summer vacations, health reasons and far distance I extend their condolences🕊🌹
I’m going to miss the laughs we had together Joe! It’s like a laser will always play in my head with an accent forever because of you. I still have videos of you singing karaoke. I will cherish them always.
Rest in paradise my friend and make everyone in heaven laugh.
My deepest condolences to the family. Joe you made us all laugh with your jokes and character. Always smiling and make everyone around you laugh. Rest in peace my friend. Until we meet again.
Today I learned of the passing of my good school friend, Joe, from Stella Maris.
When I think of you, Joe, I think of our childhood growing up around St. Clair and Dufferin. All I remember is endless laughter, crazy adventures, and so much fun. Those are memories I will always cherish.
Rest in peace, my good friend. Thank you for being part of such a wonderful chapter of my life.
Love always,
Tony Petrasso
Don’t know what to say but too many friends have gone away …Going to miss you my friend see you on the other side .We can have a few drinks then and fix that Camaro and win a few races .
I like to say that Joseph(Joe) as I knew him. Was sumed up to perfection in his obituary. That was the boy, the man and the entertainer of all encounters. Just would also add one of his most sung Friday Night songs ” I did it my way” and did it justice every time. Hope him and the Chairman of the board have good times in the heavan where all good people share eternity. R.I.P.🙏
May you RIP Joe. My condolences to the Family
Although I only met Joe a couple of times up north with Lui, he left an impression I won’t forget. Truly one of a kind, friendly man. I’m sure he will be deeply missed
My sincere and heartfelt condolences to Joe’s family.
I had the privilege of working with Joe and will always remember his infectious laugh, his great sense of humour, and his generous heart. He was someone who genuinely cared about others and always went above and beyond for those he respected and cared about.
Joe was respected by his colleagues and friends, and he will always be remembered.
Rest in eternal peace, my friend, and thank you for helping me when I first started. I will never forget that.
