It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Gertrude Gladys Veira (neé-Daize) on Tuesday July 14 2026. Beloved Mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Born in Gordon Yard, St. Vincent and the Grenadines in the year 1941 Feburary 23rd to Hamilton and Ethel Daize. She is survived by her 3 children, Mark (Theresa), Andre, and Erika, Grandchildren Alyssa, Mariah (Justin) and Ryan, and Great-Grandson Liam. As well as her Brothers Alick (Livia) and Enos and her many nieces and nephews.
elevated GK9jZ Gertrude will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
We are very sorry to hear of Gertrude’s passing. We extend our sincere sympathy to Gertrude’s daughter and family. We pray that Gertrude will now rest in eternal peace and rise in glory.
Dearest Aunty Gertrude, you showed us how to run the race and fight the good fight to the end.
You are now enjoying the room the Master has prepared for you.

What a beautiful service befitting of the extraordinary women Aunt Gertrude was! Erika, Mariah & Ryan your tributes perfectly conveyed the life and legacy of precious Gertrude. Our hearts are heavy in her passing; but rejoice in her love to all in this life. May you find comfort in the cherished memories you shared, and may you find peace and strength in the moments to come.
