elevated UcyAg It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Rosalina Medeiros on July 28, 2026, at Hospice Simcoe, at the age of 87.
elevated UcyAg Born in São Miguel, Azores, Portugal, Rosalina carried with her a deep love for her family, her faith, and the traditions of her homeland. She built a life grounded in hard work, compassion, and unwavering devotion to those she loved most.
elevated UcyAg Rosalina was a devoted and loving mother to Eduardo (Maria), Helena (John), Armando (Roberta), and Leonor (Goce). She was predeceased by her beloved sons, Walter, Qualter, and Leonardo. Though she endured unimaginable loss throughout her life, she met every challenge with remarkable courage, grace, and steadfast faith.
elevated UcyAg She was a proud and cherished grandmother to Diana, Matthew (Kimberly), Jason, Steven, Victoria, Ashley (Paulo), Samantha, Joshua, Brianna, and Jacob, and an adoring great-grandmother to Danica, Nathan, Cameron, Isabella, Harper, Caleb, Jameson, Colton, Mackenzie, and Penelope. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the greatest joy of her life, and she treasured every moment spent surrounded by her family.
elevated UcyAg Rosalina was truly the heart and soul of her family. Her warmth, kindness, generosity, and beautiful spirit made everyone feel welcomed and loved. She had a gift for bringing people together, and nothing made her happier than a home filled with laughter, conversation, and the company of those she loved.
elevated UcyAg She embraced life with enthusiasm and gratitude. She loved dancing, listening to music, spending time with friends, and creating treasured memories with her family. With her striking blue eyes, radiant smile, and joyful personality, Rosalina had a remarkable presence that could brighten any room. Her laughter was contagious, and her love was felt by everyone fortunate enough to know her.
elevated UcyAg A woman of extraordinary strength and resilience, Rosalina worked tirelessly throughout her life to provide for her family. She courageously faced six separate battles with cancer, never allowing illness to diminish her faith, hope, or determination. Her unwavering trust in God and the strength she found through prayer carried her through life’s greatest trials and inspired all who knew her. She taught her family the meaning of perseverance, unconditional love, and living each day with grace.
elevated UcyAg Although our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that Rosalina’s legacy lives on through the family she so dearly loved and the countless lives she touched. Her compassion, resilience, generosity, unwavering faith, and boundless love will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
