Sincere condolences
My sincere deepest condolences to the whole family. May she rest in peace 🙏
I am heartbroken by the loss of Rosa. We grew up together in Savuto di Cleto, sharing those early years that stay with you forever. Even when life took us far apart—her to Prince Rupert in the mid-1960s and me to Toronto in 1970—those roots always connected us.
When I married her cousin Enrica in 1975 and she later moved to Toronto, our bond became even stronger. Over the years, Rosa was not just family—she was like a sister to me. We understood each other, respected each other, and shared many moments that I will always hold close to my heart.
I will miss her deeply. Her kindness, her presence, and the way she was part of my life for so many years will never be forgotten. Though she is now in Heaven, she will always remain with me in my memories and in my heart.
May she rest in peace.
Riposa in pace, cara Rosa. Non ti dimenticherò mai.

My heartfelt condolences to Rosa’s beloved family. It was truly an honour to care for Rosa and to witness her remarkable strength, warmth, and deep love for her family. She will be remembered with great affection. May God comfort you all during this difficult time, and may Rosa rest in eternal peace.
Dear Magliocchi and Spano Families,
It is with deep sadness that I extend our heartfelt condolences on the passing of our beloved cousin.
From the first moment I saw her step off the train in
Prince Rupert, B.C., I was captivated, as we all were,
by her beauty queen looks. Almost 9 years my senior,
she became a role model for not only myself, but for all
young girls and women in her circle. Her culinary skills
became legendary as did her botanical and baking skills
as well. She was a good listener and over the years we
enjoyed many deep conversations. The world has lost
a true beauty, a rare and fragrant rose whose very essence has permeated all of our hearts with her love.
I shall miss you carissima cugina. Love you forever…
Cousins, Enrica and Pat Chieffallo
Thinking of you all at this time. Sending love and prayers.
When I was growing up in Prince Rupert B.C. my mother would always talk about her sister Celestina residing in Savuto, Italy. In 1964 when I was 8 years old, my aunt Celestina and her three children moved to Prince Rupert. I was so happy and excited to meet my aunt, but more importantly to meet my three cousins I had never seen before. My cousin Rose and Ida looked stunning! They both had bee-hive hairdos. Rose was a very beautiful and charming 18 year old! I saw her beauty for the first time in 1964. One year later, I was her ring boy at her wedding. After her marriage, I was her go-to guy for grocery runs at the local J&J Market. Every time she’d call I would go over to her house, pick up her grocery list and the money to pay for the grocery items. When I would return with the groceries she would always give me a generous tip for running the errands for her. I was always proud and “orgoglioso” to have such a beautiful and charming cousin. I remember one time when she was 40 years old, I told her she still looked beautiful. She kept looking beautiful until the end. Rosa, you were and will always be “La Regina Della Famiglia”. I am sure your family reunion in Heaven with your mom and dad is awesome and priceless. Now you can enrich Heaven with your beautiful smile and presence. Rest in Eternal Peace my beautiful and lovely cousin Rosetta.
Love your cugino Francesco Vennare
