elevated xBWc9 In Loving Memory of Aurea

elevated xBWc9 Our precious mother, Aurea, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2026, at Hill House Hospice in Richmond Hill, after a tireless battle with uterine cancer.

elevated xBWc9 Born in Melgaço, Portugal, Aurea moved with her family to France as a teenager, where she met and married her husband, Antonio. Together, they welcomed their daughter, Odette, and son, Raul, before beginning a new life in Canada. They settled in Toronto, surrounded by family.

elevated xBWc9 Aurea was a warrior with a heart of gold and a magnetic smile. She was fiercely loyal, loved unconditionally, and was a surrogate mother to her siblings as the eldest of the family. She was a talented seamstress, avid gardener, and wonderful cook, but her greatest joy was her family.

elevated xBWc9 She will be deeply missed by; her children, Odette (Allan)and Raul(Kim); her grandchildren, Dayna (Jason), Alexandra, Evan, and Noah (Briana); and her great-grandchildren, Amelia and Bianca. She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings  Juliette(Greg),Francois (Wilma), Auguste( Myra), Alda(Joaquim), Fernando (Marlene) ,Alice( Pablo) and their families. She was predeceased  by  her siblings Hortelinda (Jose) and Judite .

elevated xBWc9 Aurea leaves behind a legacy of strength, love, devotion, and family. Her beautiful smile and generous heart will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

elevated xBWc9 Our warrior, our protector, our mother, and our heart. Forever loved. Forever missed.
