Domenic Mario Biondi died peacefully on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Sunnybrook Hospital, surrounded by his wife and children. He was 94 years old.
elevated xr1Ed Domenic is survived by Mary, his beloved wife of 66 years; his children, Cindy and Anthony; his son-in-law Greg Govedaris; his grandchildren, Giorgio, Mary and Isabella; and his sisters Colomba, Sina, Anna and Rosa.
elevated xr1Ed Born on March 15, 1932, in Morcone, Italy, Domenic was one of nine children of Giovanni Biondi and Maria Di Mello. He was predeceased by his parents, his brothers Fernando, Reno and Paul, and his sister Dora.
elevated xr1Ed Domenic married Mary on July 2, 1960. Together, they built a life and family filled with love, laughter and treasured memories.
elevated xr1Ed Domenic had a natural gift for business and could sell almost anything. He especially enjoyed the years he spent operating his men’s clothing business on Bayview Avenue, where he developed lasting friendships with fellow business owners and shopkeepers.
elevated xr1Ed His children remember him as loving, intelligent and resilient. He faced life with strength and determination, and he will be remembered above all for his unwavering devotion to his family.

Always remember Domenic givimg me a hard time for being a Leafs fan. Sorry to hear of his passing as Judy and I both send our condolences to Anthony and his family at this time. Rest in peace Domenic and go Leafs go.
Paul and I express our deepest sympathies for your beloved husband and wonderful father! I remember meeting Domenic and his brothers when they first arrived from Italy. Such fond memories of these very friendly young men!
