elevated FDgQd Obituary

On September 28, 2026, the world lost a light that can never be replaced.  Sam Celio passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, after a life lived with quiet strength and unwavering courage.

Born on May 24, 1977 in Toronto, Ontario, he walked through life with a wonderful sense of humor, a deep devotion to his faith and an unwavering love for his family and friends.
He found joy in making others laugh, strength in his faith, and his greatest happiness in the people he loved.  His faith guided him, his humor brought light to those around him, and his family was always at the heart of his life.

He had a deep appreciation of the simple pleasures in life.  He loved fishing, woodworking, and spending time outdoors, where he felt most at home.

Whether he was working with his hands, enjoying a day on the water, or simply taking in the beauty of nature, he found happiness in doing the things he loved.  He was a true Canadian hockey fan.  He proudly cheered for the Montreal Canadiens and never missed an opportunity to follow his beloved Habs.  Hockey was more than just a game to him – it was a passion.

He also took great pride in his career and spent his working life as a well-respected member of the construction industry.  He was known for his hard work, dedication, skill, and the respect he earned from the many people he worked alongside during the years.

Sam leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, determination and cherished memories that will live on in all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife Cathy and children Roman and Bianca, brothers Roberto (Lorie), Mario, sister in -law Lisa (Steve), mother and father in -law Julie and Cosimo and loving nieces and nephews.  He will be reunited in peace with  his loving parents, Antonio and Giuseppina. Sam’s absence will be felt deeply by family, friends and the many lives he touched along the way.
Loved beyond words, missed beyond measure, and forever held in our hearts.  May Sam rest peacefully.

Sam was an active and devoted member of his local church,  which held a very important and special place in his heart.   In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sam’s local parish Sacred Heart Church in King City, Ontario.
