It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Nardino Di Nardo on October 2, 2026, in Toronto, at the age of 85.

Nardino was born on December 21, 1940, in Intermesoli, Italy, a place that remained an important part of his life and heritage.

A skilled electrician by trade, Nardino took great satisfaction in his craftsmanship. Humble by nature, he was a man of strong character, quiet strength, and a generous heart. He loved travelling and held a particular affection for his cherished classic Corvette. His kindness and steady nature left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

He was predeceased by his beloved parents, Abramo and Desolina; his brother-in-law, Armando; and his nephew, Walter. He is survived by his dear sister, Pasqua, and will be lovingly remembered by his nephew, Rino; his nieces, Mary and Delia and her husband, Aldo Di Felice; and his great-nephew, Daniel, and great-niece, Victoria. He will also be fondly remembered by his extended family and friends including those  in Italy.

Family was important to Nardino. His sister, Pasqua, held a special place in his heart, and their relationship remained an important part of his life.

In his later years, Nardino deeply cherished his regular visits  and coffee outings with his niece, Mary, looking forward to their conversations about current events, his travels, and family. He took a genuine interest in the lives of all his nieces and nephews, always asking how they were doing and taking pride in their accomplishments.

The family is deeply grateful to the staff at Villa Colombo for the care, kindness, and compassion they provided to Nardino.

If desired, donations in Nardino’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
