elevated Bwv8l (October 19, 1936 – October 11, 2026)

elevated Bwv8l It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Vincenzo Accardo, at the age of 89, who would have celebrated his 90th birthday on October 19th. He leaves behind a loving family who will always cherish his memory.

elevated Bwv8l Born in Alcamo, in the province of Trapani, Sicily, Vincenzo carried his Italian heritage and family values with him throughout his life.

elevated Bwv8l He was the beloved husband of Filomena, a devoted father to Peter (Mary) and Joe (Lucy), and a proud grandfather to Vince (Maria), Angela (Simon), Alyssa (Patrick) and Vince. He was also a loving great-grandfather to Adalina, Mia, Sophie, Isabelle, Lauren and Dominic.

elevated Bwv8l Family was at the heart of Vincenzo’s life. He treasured the time spent with his loved ones, especially his grandchildren, whom he adored. The happiness he found in being surrounded by his family was a reflection of the deep love he had for each of them.

elevated Bwv8l Vincenzo was a man of many passions. He found great joy in his garden and woodworking, enjoyed smoking his daily cigar, and loved watching the Maple Leafs, especially when they were winning. He also loved travelling with his beloved wife, Filomena. Throughout their remarkable 69 years of marriage, they shared a lifetime of love, companionship and wonderful memories, including the memorable travels they enjoyed together.

elevated Bwv8l Vincenzo will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all those whose lives he touched. His love for his family and the memories they shared will always be treasured.

elevated Bwv8l In memory of Vincenzo Accardo, donations can be made out to the Canadian Cancer Society – directed to “Bladder Cancer” in honor of his beloved wife Filomena.
