elevated zRXQX 🕊️ In Loving Memory of Our Beloved Mom 🕊️

elevated zRXQX January 18, 1958 – October 16, 2026

elevated zRXQX It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mom, who passed away peacefully on October 16, 2026, surrounded by the family she loved so dearly.

elevated zRXQX She leaves behind her loving husband, Lionel; her daughters, Diana (Patrick) and Laura (Brandon); and her two cherished grandchildren, Landon and Madison, who were truly the light of her life.

elevated zRXQX Our mom was a fighter in every sense of the word. For the past 11 years, she faced dialysis and numerous other health challenges with incredible strength and resilience. We affectionately called her our cat with nine lives because, time and time again, she overcame one health scare after another. Her determination amazed us all. Sadly, this time, her journey came to an end. We believe God needed her more than we needed her here on Earth, and while our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing she can finally rest peacefully, free from the pain and struggles she endured for so many years.

elevated zRXQX We take comfort in knowing that Mom is now reunited in Heaven with her beloved mom and dad. We imagine her being welcomed into their arms, where she can finally find the peace she so deserves. We hope she is watching over us, knowing that the love she gave us will never fade.

elevated zRXQX Mom was an amazing mother and the heart of our home. She loved deeply, valued tradition, and found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. Her favourite place was the kitchen, where she was one heck of a cook. She had a special gift for bringing people together through food, always making sure nobody left her home hungry. Thanks to her, we have become the biggest foodies known to mankind!

elevated zRXQX And just as important as the meals she prepared was her beloved morning ritual: a Tim Hortons coffee with two creams and one sweetener. It had to be Tim Hortons, and whenever we visited, she was always eager to have us bring her one. It was such a simple pleasure, but it was so unmistakably Mom. These are the little routines we will miss most—the everyday moments that become treasured memories when someone we love is no longer here. Her recipes and the memories made around her table will live on in our family for generations to come.

elevated zRXQX She also had a beauty that was truly unique, paired with a timeless elegance and a classic sense of style. I would often joke that I lost out on her beauty because Laura took it all! It was one of those little family jokes that will always bring a smile to our faces. Mom was beautiful inside and out, and her unmistakable presence could never be replicated. She loved her porcelain dolls, took pride in the little details, and had one signature scent that was unmistakably hers: Youth-Dew by Estée Lauder. These little things were part of what made her so wonderfully herself.

elevated zRXQX Her greatest pride and joy were her grandchildren, Landon and Madison. They brought a sparkle to her eyes and a happiness to her heart that words could never fully describe. They were her precious babies, and the love she shared with them will forever be part of their lives.

elevated zRXQX Another very special part of Mom’s world was her beloved Tzu Maltese puppy, Molly. From the moment she brought Molly home eight years ago, she was completely obsessed with her. Molly was her constant companion and little shadow, bringing her comfort, laughter, and unconditional love.

elevated zRXQX Although Mom appreciated tradition, she always knew what she wanted and believed in living life on her own terms. She enjoyed the simple things and wanted her final farewell to reflect that same simplicity. She did not want a grand party, a traditional visitation, or a viewing. Her wish was to be cremated, and we will honour her wishes exactly as she wanted.

elevated zRXQX We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie for the exceptional care they provided to our mom. The compassion, dignity, and respect they showed her meant more to our family than words can express. They cared for Mom with kindness while also ensuring our family felt comfortable, supported, and guided through this incredibly difficult time. Their thoughtfulness and humanity brought us comfort when we needed it most, and for that, we will be forever grateful. Thank you for caring for our mom and for taking such wonderful care of all of us.

elevated zRXQX Mom, you were our fighter, our family chef, and the heart that brought us together. You filled our lives with delicious food, familiar traditions, laughter, and a love that made everyone feel at home. We will miss your cooking, your favourite perfume, your timeless beauty, and all the little things that made you who you were.

elevated zRXQX We wish we could have had more time, more conversations, more meals together, and just one more hug. But we will carry you with us in every family gathering, every recipe we recreate, and every moment we see your spirit reflected in Landon and Madison.

elevated zRXQX You spent 11 years fighting, Mom, and you fought harder than anyone could have ever asked of you. Now, you can finally lay down your burdens. No more appointments, no more dialysis, no more fighting. Just peace.

elevated zRXQX Until we meet again, give Nonna and Nonno a big hug for us in Heaven. We hope you are together again, watching over all of us until the day we meet once more.

elevated zRXQX Rest peacefully, our beautiful angel. You have earned your wings.

elevated zRXQX Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever our Mom ❤️
