It is with sadness and much love that we announce the passing of Samir Jammal in Toronto, surrounded by the love of his family.

elevated ApjJS Samir was born in Haifa, Palestine, to the late Jamil and Fairuz Jammal. He was the last of seven children and was predeceased by all his beloved siblings.

elevated ApjJS Samir was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Fadwa (née Shamma), with whom he shared 60 wonderful years of marriage filled with love, devotion, and cherished memories.

elevated ApjJS He was a proud and loving father to Hani, Ghassan, and Hadi (Melisa). He was a cherished Jiddo to his beloved grandchildren, Layla and Luca, who brought immense joy and happiness to his life.

elevated ApjJS Samir will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. The beautiful memories he created and the love he shared throughout his life will forever remain in our hearts. His legacy of love and devotion and gentle presence will continue to live on through the generations who were blessed to know him.
