elevated 5pSRz The family announces with sorrow her passing on October 23, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. Cherished daughter of John & Ana Lesko. She will be fondly remembered by her grandmother, uncles and aunts, nieces and nephews and her extended family and friends. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Credit Valley Hospital for their compassionate care. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Carlo Fidani Regional Cancer Centre would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Kat, I don’t know how it is that we never actually met in person, every time we spoke over the phone or on video though you made me laugh out loud with your phenomenal sense of humour and wit. I will miss those chats.
It’s funny how you can feel a connection with someone you’ve never actually met, but that’s exactly what you did. You were one incredible person and a truly special friend, I feel so lucky that our paths crossed, even if only over the phone.
I wish we’d had the chance to meet, to share a laugh in person, and to make memories. It’s heartbreaking to think that won’t happen now. This world will be a little darker without you in it, Kat, and I can only imagine how deeply you’ll be missed by everyone who was lucky enough to know and love you.
Thank you for the laughs, the conversations, and for being you. You’ve left a mark on my heart without us ever meeting face to face, and that says everything about the kind of person you were.
