elevated mQUfY We are seeking exceptional Class 1 Funeral Director who has chosen to focus their career in embalming and with a strong devotion to tradition, service and professionalism to join our team of outstanding professionals located throughout our funeral homes.  The Embalming Supervisor position is primarily located at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, but will also be expected to liaison and travel to our other funeral homes, Catholic Cremation Services, our Funeral Home at Assumption Cemetery and Queen of Heaven Catholic Funeral Home (Opening in 2024!)

elevated mQUfY  If you are a progressive Funeral Director, that has nurtured and refined their profession with a proficiency in embalming and have the following attributes, we want to hear from you:

• Class 1 Funeral Director’s License in good standing, with a minimum of 5 years experience.
• Possess supervisory experience, preferably with an embalming team.
• Superior embalming skills to ensure the preparation of the decedent is completed in accordance to the directions of the Funeral Director and to ensure the expectations of the family are exceeded.
• Well versed in Funeral Home policies, procedures, universal safety precautions and funeral home business practices.
• Assist with various funeral home activities in times of high volumes, as directed.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• The ability to cultivate and foster strong interpersonal relationships with families and co-workers are also critical.
• Exceptional customer service, superior communication, attention to detail, accuracy and excellent time management skills.
• Physically able to lift over 80 lbs., frequently bending, twisting, standing and walking for prolonged periods of time; occasionally having to kneel, push and pull and must have manual dexterity.
• A valid Ontario Class G Driver’s License with the ability to travel to various locations within the GTA
• A clear Police Clearance Record is required.
