elevated hN9jD Catholic Cemeteries & Funeral Services – Archdiocese of Toronto is currently looking for a full time Project Coordinator to join the Facility Development team at our corporate office currently located in Markham, at Highway 7 and Leslie.  This is an exciting opportunity to work with a full-service bereavement industry leader. This role will support our Facility Development Department in the expansion and construction of our buildings, mausoleums and cemetery burial sections that are developed to provide sacred burial options for bereaved Catholic families.

elevated hN9jD Job Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Director, Facility Development, you will be responsible for providing the Facility Development team with ongoing administrative and on-site support for all projects from project set up to project close out.  Duties include: file management of all project documentation, cataloguing and tracking project documentation, assisting with project financials and reconciling, preparing and maintaining reports and documents to support project progress costs, assisting in blueprint reviews, participating in both on-site and off-site meetings and assist the Project Managers in project close out requirements. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for monitoring current inventory of burial spaces.

elevated hN9jD Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in construction industry and/or project management and be familiar with Municipal Development processes.  The candidate will also have experience in reading and understanding construction drawings and document management experience.  Completion of Post-Secondary Education in construction management and/or project management and certification in Project Management or working towards is required.

elevated hN9jD The required skill sets include:  analytical skills coupled with administrative, coordination and time management skills with strengths in creating and maintaining document management, computer literate (Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project), and possess advanced communication (verbal & written).
