elevated 1fW5Q We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Agostino (Gus) Di Mambro who died peacefully on Monday, April 24, 2023 at the age of 92.

elevated 1fW5Q He will be lovingly remembered by his sister Angelina Nardone, and is now reunited with his parents Filippo and Pasqua, his brothers Giuseppe, Salvatore, Antonio, Raffaele, Stefano, and sisters Francesca and Maria.  ‘Uncle Gus’ will be greatly missed by the many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

elevated 1fW5Q Gus immigrated to Canada in 1954 and quickly lay down roots, while never forgetting his motherland.   He was a successful home builder that lived life to the fullest and gave with all his heart.  As a devoted brother and uncle, he felt joy when surrounded by family and cherished his time spent with close friends.   

elevated 1fW5Q As the youngest of nine siblings, he was always ready to lend a hand to his brothers and sisters and their families.    For many years he enjoyed a weekly game of ‘ramino’ with them.  He will leave behind a legacy of fond memories and laughter for all who knew him.

elevated 1fW5Q The family also wishes to express sincere appreciation to Moira and her family for the love, care and compassion given to Agostino. 

elevated 1fW5Q The visitation and funeral will take place at Holy Cross Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Rd E.  Visitation is on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm.  The Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at 12:00 p.m.
