It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Concezio “Alfonso” Trisi, who departed this world with his family by his side, on January 23rd, 2026, at the age of 86.

Alfonso is lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years, Lina (nee Scaturchio), cherished by his dear children Walter (Maria Rosa), Lucia (Sandro) and Mauro (Giulia) and proud Nonno to Vanessa, Marco, Asia, Alexander, Luca and Adelina; who will carry forward his memory with love and gratitude. Dear brother and brother-in-law to Guido and Floriana Trisi, Enzo and Emma Scaturchio, Enza and Nicola Condello, Bruno and Dianne Scaturchio. Alfonso will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all his nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.

Alfonso was born on December 8, 1939, in Pescara, Italy. In 1964 he embarked on a journey to Canada where he built a life devoted to his family and friends. Alfonso dedicated over 30 years of service to the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) before retiring; a career marked by hard work and pride.

Please consider making a donation to Hospice Vaughan, in honour and memory of Alfonso Trisi.
