elevated 4qbkN God called Angela Caldarola peacefully on January 8, 2024 at the age of 88. She is now reunited in Heaven with her loving husband Mauro and son Frank. Cherished by her dear children Ross, Joe (Joanne) and Steve (Linda). Proud nonna to Stephanie, Joel, Alysa, Daniel and Nicholas. Adored bisnonna to Lucas. Angela will always be remembered by her sister Margherita. She is also reunited in Heaven with her siblings. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends. In memory of Angela, donations can be made out to the Alzheimer’s Society.

Cara zia Lina la distanza ci ha tenuti lontani fisicamente, ma in realtà eravamo vicini col cuore sempre. Che tu possa trovare pace e serenità con i tuoi fratelli, sorelle ma soprattutto zio Mauro e Frank. Ci mancherai un bacio grande fino al cielo dove ora tu sei.

When she was well, my Nonna would talk all the time for as long as you would listen. About her home town back in Italy and her childhood and how today is my third cousins birthday and about the Italian cooking show or mass she was watching on TV. When i was younger I didn’t always make the time to listen, I had friends to see and games to play. Now all i wish i had was a little more time to listen to all the things she had to say. We’re all going to miss you so much Nonna.
We send our deepest condolences to the entire Calderola family. We remember taking a small bus trip years ago and your parents were on the bus with us. Your momma was so funny and made the journey enjoyable. I’ll never forget her sincerest laughter and smile.

Dearest Zia Lina,
I am so sad that you are no longer with us, but happy you have reunited with your family in heaven (I’m pretty sure Frank and my mom were the first to meet you).
Your life was not without its challenges and heartaches. But through it all, you remained one of the sweetest and strongest ladies I’ve ever known.
I will treasure my memories of time spent with you (God knows mom took enough pictures of all our time together)….from getting me my first job at 14 and working side by side (child labour laws weren’t as strict back then…lol), to trips to Acapulco, Cuba & Italy, to sharing all our birthdays & holidays together and to just the simple weekly visits which were always full of stories, lots of laughs and of course, ice cream. No matter the season or how cold it was outside, there was always ice cream.
I will love and remember you always.
