elevated 7wPx1 January 1, 1934 – June 10, 2025
elevated 7wPx1 With deep & profound grief we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather & great-grandfather Antun Palic on June 10, 2025.
elevated 7wPx1 Cherished husband of 63 years to Nada, beloved father of sons Joseph, Brian (Nomce), daughter Hilda (Michael) & their sons Philip (Natasha), Anthony (Jessica), Matko (Maddy) & much loved great grandfather to Antonia and Nadia.
elevated 7wPx1 Born January 1, 1934 in Rešetari, Croatia to Josip & Antonia Palic. Survived by Katica Palic & many nieces & nephews. Predeceased by siblings Maria, Reza, Ljubica, Lojzo, Ivan and Stijepan.
elevated 7wPx1 Anthony emigrated to Toronto, Canada in 1958 as a trained welder and enjoyed a successful career starting in 1961 as a mechanic at American Motors/Chrysler for 38 years. Tinkering with our cars was a favorite past time. He met his beloved Nada at a dance in the Hrvatski Dom & they were married shortly after on July 29th, 1961. Together they built a wonderful family life based on love, strong faith and Croatian traditions.
elevated 7wPx1 Anthony loved to travel with Nada back to Croatia for many years to spend time with family & when at home most often you would find him in the vegetable garden or at the table regaling family and friends with an amusing story. Together he & Nada attended many Croatian picnics and dances where he always ended up dancing a Slavonsko kolo or 2 when the tamburice started up.
Always delighted by their company, Anthony held a special place in his heart for his grandsons and great granddaughters.
What we will remember most about Anthony was the combo of his infectious smile &
the twinkle in his eyes.
elevated 7wPx1 His enthusiasm & zest for life were unparalleled along with the love for his whole family and most especially for his Nada.
elevated 7wPx1 Words are not sufficient to express how much we will miss him but we are comforted that he is finally at peace.
