Obituary
elevated kvg9I It is with a heavy heart and profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Antonia Ruscica (nee Morra) after a short but valiant battle with cancer. Antonia passed away peacefully on January 10, 2023, at the age of 77 surrounded by her family. Antonia was a loving wife of 48 years to Vincenzo (predeceased). She was a caring and devoted mother to Sam (Lora) and Carmelo (Joanne). Her grandchildren were her world. She was a loving and proud nonna to Vincent, Robert, Vince, Lucas, Francesco, Lauren, Victoria, and her namesake angel in heaven, Antonia. She leaves behind her sister and best friend, Felicetta (Luigi), who was always by her side, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends. Antonia has left this earth to be reunited in Heaven with her husband Vincenzo, granddaughter, Antonia, brother Rocco (Georgina), and parents Carmelo and Vincenza Morra. Antonia suffered through many health struggles over the last several years and although we had hoped to have her here with us for much longer, we are comforted that she is now at peace in heaven. She will be sadly missed by all who loved her but will be kept alive in their hearts through many treasured memories.

You have been and will always be a teacher of the important values of life: extending love at all times, optimism regardless of the circumstances, hard work in the face of all challenges, commitment to family and all those in your inner circle, a pursuit of happiness in all moments, and the creation of heart space for those like Daniel, who need it most. We will always remember your warm, gentle smile and infectious laughter. We will miss seeing you but are comforted in knowing the place we hold for you in our hearts.
May this next place of your journey honour the awe and wonder of who you are and bring you peace, solace and love.
