elevated jYnl1 Obituary

elevated jYnl1 It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss we announce the peaceful passing of Antonietta Battaglini (nee Claudio) on May 10, 2025, at Villa Leonardo Gambin Long Term Care at the age of 87. Born on March 12, 1938, in Chieti, Abruzzo, Italy to parents Angelo and Lisaura Claudio. Reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband Alberto. Beloved mother of Delfia (Giorgio), Gaetano (Mary Ann), Alberto Jr. (Siriana) and Anthony (Marisa). Proud Nonna of Ezio (Carlos), Sara (Daniele), Ashley, Serina, Bianca, Nicholas and Gian-Luca. Adored bisnonna of Leonardo.
Antonietta’s lovely smile, kind nature and affection for her family will live on in her memory.  Spending time with her family was something Antonietta loved.
Despite having dementia for many years, Antonietta battled it valiantly. She put up a strong fight.
The family would like to thank Villa Leonardo Gambin Long Term Care, 2nd floor Dr. Gordon, nurses and psw’s for taking great care of Antonietta.
Antonietta will be sadly missed and held dear in the hearts of her many extended family and friends. She will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten.
Your thoughts and kindness are truly appreciated during this time of sorrow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honor of Antonietta Battaglini can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada
