elevated pXJ1L Antonio Rodrigues Da Silva, 75, of Caledon, Ontario, passed away peacefully with his family at his bedside on May 16, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. Antonio is survived by his devoted wife of 45 years, Helena Da Silva, his sons Oscar and Eric Da Silva, his daughters-in-law Diane and Tania, and his beloved grandchildren Romeo, Leandro, Drea, Julian, Lily, and Charlotte.

elevated pXJ1L Antonio was born on April 18, 1950, in Aveiro, Portugal, in the community of Quinta do Gato, to Antonio Dias Da Silva and Laura Rodrigues Pinto. He spent his formative years in Aveiro, where he developed an early interest in mechanics and electronics. In his youth, he was an avid soccer player, competing for Futebol Clube de Arouca in the Portuguese Second Division, as well as the junior squad for Beira Mar Futebol Clube.

elevated pXJ1L Antonio graduated in 1974 from the University of Coimbra with a degree in Engineering, specializing in Electrotechnics. His academic efforts were recognized with distinction, and his degree was conferred with honors by the Rector of the University, a mark of both excellence and his unwavering dedication to the sciences.

elevated pXJ1L In 1979, Antonio immigrated to Canada to reunite with his fiancée Helena, whom he married that same year. Together, they built a life rooted in family, hard work, and perseverance. Soon after his arrival, Antonio founded Tech Electric Motors, bringing his engineering expertise to the Canadian trade sector. His reputation for precision, integrity, and innovation made him a respected figure among clients and peers alike.

elevated pXJ1L Outside of work, Antonio enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and riding his motorcycle, and he rarely missed a soccer match on television. His passion for his hobbies never waned, and he took great pride in sharing them with his children and grandchildren.

elevated pXJ1L Antonio will be remembered for his quiet strength, devotion to family, and deep sense of responsibility. His life was marked by steady progress—one purposeful step after another—shaped by his values, his heritage, and a profound sense of duty. His legacy endures in the lives of those who knew and loved him. in
