Surrounded by her family, it is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Bambina Ascenzo on September 10, 2024. Beloved wife to Antonio (predeceased, 1999). Bambina was a loving mother to Sylvana (Aldo), Bruno (Sue), Eraldo and Marina (Giovanni). She was also a proud and cherished Nonna to Andrina (Matthew), David, Jessica (Anthony), Daniela (Davide), Anthony (Monika) and soon-to-be Bisnonna to Baby Ascenzo.
elevated FIV4c Bambina is reunited in heaven with her sisters Nicolina and Santina, sisters-in-law Assunta, Rosa and Pasqualina, and brothers-in-law Luigi, Giuseppe and Nicola. Bambina is survived by her siblings Olivetta (late Nicola), Giustino (Maria), Antonio (Elvira), sister-in-law Maria and brothers-in-law Enio and Donato. She will be held dear in the hearts of her many nieces and nephews in Canada, Italy, England and the United States.
elevated FIV4c Bambina was a kind and gentle person, always finding the will and strength needed to overcome life’s challenges, bravely fighting even in her final days. She created a beautiful and loving family and will forever be our matriarch and greatest role model in life. Vi vogliamo un mondo di bene, mamma.
elevated FIV4c Thank you to Bambina’s palliative care team including Dr. Abrams, Nurse Ahmad and the many personal support workers from Saint Elizabeth Health Care for their wonderful care and support.
