elevated 4fbJn It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Brigita Ilze Poole on April 13, 2023 at the age of 73. Loving wife of John for 48 years, caring mother to Andrew (Cindy), and James (Patricia). Cherished grandmother to Connor, Bowie, and Emmy-Lou. She will be missed by her brother Arnis (Anita), and many family and friends. The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses at Mackenzie Heatlh Hospital for all their care and compassion.

John, it’s been a long time since our days with you, Ilze, Andrew and James. Wonderful WV memories. With great sadness, Jasmin and I send our condolences for your loss. Best memory of Ilze for us? She was an outstanding mother to the boys. Our thoughts are with you all.

Please forgive the 4 month delay in responding to your message of condolences. Frankly, after the funeral I didn’t look at any of this stuff until today. Your note touched my heart and caused a flood of great memories of our time in BC and Caulfield area and friends like you. Thank you very much for thinking of us during this time. Ilze, had been very ill for the past 3 years and wasn’t getting any better. She had massive heart attack and went quickly while we were talking
to each other. I miss her but she is in a better place now.
If I get back to BC I will look you up and hopefully come to see you. Thank you old friends.
