I am saddened to hear of the passing of Carmelina.
I have fond memories of her as such a nice, kind and gentle person.
I can see her smile and little laugh right now.
She was also a good friend and companion to my Mother Verginia and to my Zia Luigia.

It is with deep and profound sadness that I extent my deepest heartfelt condolences to the family
in it’s entirety.
Regreat that due to these restricting times the due respect cannot be given , other than this heartfelt expression of love toward Zia Carmelina and all of you her beloved family.
Che il Signore l’abbia nella sua immenza gloria. R.I.P.
How can someone summarize the emotions felt when you lose someone so amazing and important in your life? Nonna Carmela was a remarkable mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and woman. We couldn’t have been blessed with a more loving, nurturing, warm hearted, brave and strong Nonna. She was the head of our family for so long since the passing of her husband and our Nonno, Antonio. She was the foundation that kept everyone strong and close knit… and of course well fed. She instilled the values, morals and traditions that we all carry today. We are so lucky that we got so much time with her and so many beautiful and cherished memories that we will all hold close to our hearts forever. She is a part of all of us. She has shaped all of us into the people we are today and we all carry a piece of her in our hearts and for that, she will live on in all of us grandchildren and great grandchildren. We will be forever thankful and lucky to have had her as our Nonna. We will love her and miss her always.
Love always and forever,
Maria, Jordan, Chiara and Chloe
My heartfelt condolences to you Angela, Gino and family! Msy she rest in peace.

What a beautiful picture to capture Zia’s essence.
Growing up in her presence offered us the opportunity through her stories to be close to our own grandmother. Great memories of drinking percolator coffee in her kitchen and eating freshly made cigar cookies! Coffee never tasted the same without those 1970’s green mugs. She did though leave behind the recipe of those cigar cookies that we have yet to perfect…..Admired from afar as she stirred her long life after her husband dying with such grace and strength. Embraced for her no nonsense advised that only the Guzzo family could deliver and left that behind so some of us could carry it on 😉…. Rest In Peace Zia and say hi to nonna filomena for me.
Nonna was a remarkable person – by far the strongest person I’ve ever known. I would be satisfied with just a tenth of her strength and resilience. It’s in part that incredible durability that makes it so difficult, despite her age and long-lasting health conditions, to come to terms that she is gone. Her generosity and graceful yet spontaneously spicy personality is irreplaceable, will be forever missed, never forgotten. I can’t help but feel regret for having spent half my life apart from her, yet also feel greatly privileged to have had as much time as we did. With love always and forever, Cristiano, Kinga, Sofia and Gabriel.

Angie, Gino and your entire families, we send you our most heartfelt condolences on the loss of your wonderful mother, who we affectionately called Zia Carmelina. She was a very strong and loving person. Our family has always respected both Zia and her beloved husband Zio Antonio, and held them in highest regard. Although it is always painful when you lose a beautiful soul such as Zia, it is also comforting to know that she is now reunited with Zio and she is finally without physical pain and at peace.
Love Maria & Frank

Zia Carmelina always welcomed us with a warm smile when we visited at Angie and Gino’s home. She was always kind, gentle and full of joy watching Chiara and Sienna play.
I remember my mom telling me the story of how selfless and generous Zia Carmelina and Zio Antonio had been to us when my parent’s and their young family were in need. They were a wonderful couple and are now finally re-united in heaven.
Rest in peace Zia.
Our mom meant more to us than words can ever say to remember all the sacrifices and all the things we did is only a memory away. You were a mom a grandmother and a special friend. We are glad you are free from pain. Our love for you will never end and you will never suffer again. In time our broken heart will mend and our tears will dry. Memories of a wonderful mother and grandmother will never end. Our love for you and Dad will never die. We will miss you and Dad for ever.
I love you and miss you. Thank you for being the best Nonna I could have.
Our Deepest sympathy
To the entire Lettieri family, extended family and friends.
The loss though difficult the 97 years of memories and happiness will never fade. Be well and safe everyone.
I was lucky, being the first great-grandchild to my Nonna, she was still young when I was born. Not everyone gets to meet their Great-Grandmother, and even less get to have them in their lives for 26 years!
When I was younger, she would occasionally babysit me, from which I have vivid memories. Sitting at her table drinking “coffee”, eating from her fig tree, and going for walks to the store. I can still picture her kitchen and living room like I was there yesterday. Walking around her beautiful garden and often seeing my cousins on the other side of the face that backed onto the schoolyard. I used to tell people that my favourite place in the whole world was my my Nonna’s garden.
As I got older I came to appreciate how fortunate I was to have a Great-Nonna, and my favourite thing about her was you could tell how much she appreciated each and every one of her grandchildren. When I would greet her she would always ask how I was and when I said goodbye she would tell me to be careful. I would always thank her for making her pizza and cookies just for me (even though she clearly had made it for everyone).
I’m going to miss Nonna.
Our deepest condolences go out to you and your whole family. There are no words that can take away the sorrow that you bear but Carmelina’s precious memories of her will be forever locked in your hearts.
The books of Ecclesiastes come to life when we read that there is a time to be born and a time die, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance … a season for every activity under heaven.
Our sincere condolences to the Lettieri Family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all
R.I.P. Carmelina 🙏
